-
Achieving Change Through Value-Based Behavior (ACTV) is an effective, evidence-based curriculum for court-mandated individuals following a domestic violence conviction. ACTV increases the intrinsic motivation to change, and reduces recidivism across the board.
-
Part I introduces the therapeutic model that ACTV is based on - Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT). Participants will learn how to apply ACT skills with their clients.
Part II offers training on how to implement the ACTV curriculum.
-
Trainees will earn professional training hours for completing Part I. Completing Part I of the ACTV training does not obligate your agency to implement ACTV.
Completing Parts I and II is required to become a certified ACTV facilitator. If you are interested in becoming a certified ACTV facilitator/implementing ACTV at your agency, please contact us directly.
-
ACTV training requires a total of 22 hours prior to implementing the program in your organization. Our team can accommodate your agency’s needs, providing training over the course of days or weeks, and offered virtually or in-person.
