Community Partnerships

Partner With Us

As one of our community partners, you will work collaboratively with our ACTV team to implement and evaluate ACTV-3 in community settings. Through this partnership, you will receive ongoing support in delivering a clinically effective therapeutic intervention, while also helping us collect additional data to further refine the program and strengthen the evidence for its effectiveness. Together we would work towards reducing recidivism among men who have been convicted of domestic violence and have been mandated to treatment, as well as intimate partner violence more broadly.

ACTV Implementation Efforts

The image below illustrates ACTV’s growing presence across the United States. ACTV has been successfully implemented as an evidence-based violence intervention program in Arizona, Iowa, Minnesota, and Vermont. Our team is actively building partnerships, providing trainings, and advancing implementation efforts in Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Oregon, and Wisconsin.

How to Bring ACTV to Your Organization

Discuss agency needs and determine whether a partnership would support program goals (open to any interested members of your organization).

Initial Consultation

Staff interested in facilitation or program support will undergo ACTV training. ACTV training totals 22 hours. Typically, this has been delivered as two full days plus a weekly one-hour lunch training over 4–6 weeks, though we are happy to accommodate a format that works best for your team. Training can be offered virtually or in person.

Staff Training

Staff facilitating an ACTV group are required to participate in a one hour weekly coaching session for the duration of the group to receive feedback and support in preparation for upcoming sessions.
